My name is Mariyah Vega, and I am an Artist seeking a chance to showcase my skills and keen eye for detail. Born in Phoenix, AZ, I am an Army veteran and college student at Arizona State University. There are many things to fall in love with in this short life, but one thing that's never changed is my love of creativity. My Story
Growing up in a diverse city with a growing population has taught me that everyone has something to offer. From the man running the food stall on the roadside to the CEOs/CTOs in charge of major corporations, ambition is required to reach your goals. I would stroll through the city, then surrounding cities with a growing appreciation for culture and the creations that come of it. As a result, I joined one of the most culturally diverse organizations in the U.S., the military. Throughout the duration of my contract I had the opportunity to travel and learn more about what it means to be alive. I learned that art and the ability to contribute and create has followed me from youth to the present. Now, it is the junior year of my B.S. in Graphic Information Technology program for ASU and I am preparing to contribute and create in a professional setting.
